Local professional players have gone over the wall since the pause in football action across the country. They appear to have binned the media-shy posture and are speaking to save their careers.
Outspoken Aduana Stars striker, Yahaya Muhammed has come forthright with concerns for the work of the Ghana football Normalization Committee (NC) and believes the body, which is not living up to expectations, is being shielded by bribed journalist.
He lamented the current ordeals of local players who are growing rusty and irritated by the prolonged inactivity on the local football scene and fingered, in his opinion, corrupt journalists who he alleges “have taken money from the NC to defend them on air”.
He purported that monies have exchanged hands, and the continuous protection of the NC by some media people justifies his claim.
