Rap legend, Obrafour has waded into the influx of beef between artists in the Ghana music industry which was taken to a new level by Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy until they called a truce recently during the famous Peace Conference at the Mariot Hotel on June 4.
Appearing on the show ‘Showbiz A-Z’ with George Quaye, the rapper express his opinion on the issue thus:
“I don’t subscribe to it at all, talking about people’s mothers who have nothing to do with their music is a no-no. These are people who have nothing to do with the music, it is just sad.”
“Reggie Rockstone in one of his songs says he was born with a microphone in his hands…the jab comes as no one is born with a microphone in their hands. it was just beautiful.”
Obrafuor added that beefs during his era helped boost their record sales but never took it beyond the scope of entertainment. Meanwhile, the legendary rapper is Obrafour is set to celebrate his iconic ‘#[email protected] in November.
