WBC World heavyweight Champion, Deontay Wilder insists his doors are open to any possible engagements with British fan-favorite Anthony Joshua in a match-up that could go down in history as the most must-see fight in recent boxing history.
Interacting with the press after his first-round knock-out triumph over Dominic Breazeale in New York, last night,Wilder responded when quizzed about his thoughts on a possible bout with either of British duo Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury.
“No doors are closed”, the hard-hitting American asserted, iterating his calls for Joshua’s camp to step up to the challenge of a mega bout that could alter the global boxing narrative. The tough-talking heavyweight believes talks will progress for a super fight with Joshua whose camp did not seem as keen for it in the past and do not appear too enthused now.
Wilder 33, required just 43 seconds of the opening round to floor fellow American Breazeale, padding his enviable fight record to 41 wins and a single draw, maintaining his rich undefeated record in a most dominant fashion.
