Ghana’s last 16 elimination at the hands of Tunisia has been met with refereeing controversy after Andre Ayew’s disallowed goal.

The Black Stars thought that hey gone ahead after Ayew slotted in a skillful back-heel goal, only for the officials to overall the goal for a handball on Thomas Partey.

A closer and slower look at the incident shows that the ball actually did not hit Patey’s hand… making the decision a wrong call.

However, the absence of VAR in the group stages and last 16 of AFCON could not help Ghana.
