Black Stars forward Christian Atsu made Ghana proud after scoring for Newcastle United against Liverpool. Sunday saw the Ada Foah-born player make his second consecutive Premier League start. Within 20 minutes, Atsu gave Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah a reason to smile.
The 27-year-old finished a rebound with his left boot to give Newcastle the equaliser after Liverpool had gone ahead via Virgil Van Dijk.
