Waris Rubbishes Black Stars Fight Rumors

FC Nantes player and late Emeliano Sala teammate Majeed Waris has scorned reports, which suggest the failure of the Senior National team to win the African Cup Of nations is due to bloated egos within the Black Stars teams.

He pointed out the trophy-drought the team has endued is not because of individual agendas within the team but rather due to ill fortune.

The 27-year-old Black Stars striker who has been capped 31 times for Ghana is looking to establish himself as a prominent figure within the team since injuries have battled his consistency with the national team.

He also agreed to the need for the national team to win a major  trophy to thrash such rumors of division in the bin.
