Ghana international Osah Bernardino Tetteh was the hero for ASV Geel as they defeated Knokke 1-0 at home in the Belgium First Amateur Division.
The 22-year-old scored the only goal of the game on the stroke of halftime.
The skillful left winger beat his marker with a delightful step over before drilling a shot into the bottom corner of the Knokke net.
Before his goal,Bernadinho had made several shooting attempts which were palmed away by Knokke’s shot stopper ,Justin Verlinden.
The Ghanaian international is on a season long loan from Westerlo,who play in the Belgium First Division B. And it took him 5 games to open his goal scoring account for the club.
He joined Westerlo on a three year deal from Ghanaian lower tie side Attram De Viser Academy in 2017.
Sunday’s result leaves ASV Geel 12th on the league table after 6 games.They have racked up 6 points already in the season.
