USL: On Loan Ropapa Mensah Finishes Season As Club’s Top Scorer

On loan Inter Allies forward, Ropapa Mensah, ended his one year spell in the USL as the top scorer for his club side with seven strikes in nineteen appearances. The lanky Ghanaian import needed just 19 appearances to raise his personal market value with consistent performances on weekly basis.

The Ghana youth international surged summit on the statistical index of his club side with 7 goals from 19 league appearances to emerge top scorer at the club level. The skillful attacker beat his nearest rival, Pedro Ribeiro by an alarming 4 goals to highlight his importance to the club he joined on loan from Inter Allies.

The much sort after Ghanaian added numerous player of the week, appearances in the Team of the Week to his aesthetically driven goals in the United Soccer league. The Harrisburg City Islanders attacker stayed second on the assist chart for his club to show how valuable he is to the Islander’s league campaign. His 47 shots attempted at goal in 19 appearances is also a club best, spicing his season with some 21 clear goal scoring chances created in the process.

Compatriot duo of Abass Mohammed and Fredrick Opoku Yamoah each contributed one goal, sharing the sixth slot on the assist chart. The trio are expected to make the loan move permanent at the end of the season , with Ropapa Mensah topping the transfer wish list of many top European clubs ahead of the winter transfer  window.
