Arsenal midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is set to miss home game against Everton on Sunday.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s fitness is uncertain after sustaining an ankle injury during the Gunners’ Europa League romp over Vorskla on Thursday.
The 29-year-old will face a late assessment ahead of Sunday’s home game with Everton according to a club statement.
The Armenia international arrived at the Emirates Stadium in a swap deal for Alexis Sanchez following a topsy- turvy spell with Manchester United.
He has made 23 appearances for the club so far, scoring four goals.
Arsenal website also provided further updates on Sead Kolasinac (knee), Ainsley Maitland-Niles (broken leg) and Carl Jenkinson (ankle). The trio are expected to return to full training in October.
Meanwhile club captain Laurent Koscielny has begun outside training as he continues to recuperate from an Achilles injury.
