NEA Salamina striker, Obeng Kwadwo Junior, is set to undergo medicals at Kotoko by close of week, according to reports emerging from the Ashanti Region.
Information gathered by Ghanacrusader.com, the highly rated striker, is on the verge of joining the Porcupine Warriors who look to wrap up their signing by close of week, as CAF’s deadline for submission of player list looms.
The prodigy who had a terrific outing for the Wamanafo-based side, has emerged a top transfer target for various Ghana Premier League sides, with Hearts and Aduana Stars all reported to be interested in the services of the player.
Kotoko now look firm favourites to capture the signature of the 18-year-old striker, who scored 11 goals in the Division One League and managed to score three goals in the 2017 MTN
FA Cup, where they reached the quarter-finals.
Obeng will be Kotoko’s fourth official signing with the likes Emmanuel Owusu, Wahab Adams, Mohammed Sylla and Micheal Abu all joining the Porcupine Warriors .
