Asante Kotoko are set to complete the capture of former Ghana Premier League top scorer Eric Bekoe.
According to viral media reports, Bekoe has started training with the Kumasi giants and the club is ready to offer him a year deal.
If the deal goes through, Bekoe will be returning to Kotoko after 9 years since leaving the club in 2008.
Bekoe experience would be needed by the club as they will be participating in next year’s CAF Confederation Cup.
In 2008, Bekoe won the Ghana Premier League top scorer award with 17 solid goals – after the season he joined Egyptian side Petrojet but due to injuries his contracted was terminated.
He returned to the Ghana Premier League two seasons ago by signing for Sekondi Hasaacas but the club got relegated despite scoring eight goals.
