The Tamale Metropolitan Assembly has given gives 21 day ultimatum to persons occupying forest reserves in Metropolis to vacate or be forcefully ejected

The Tamale Metropolitan Assembly has given a twenty one day ultimatum to persons occupying forest reserves in the Metropolis to vacate or be forcefully ejected.

The Assembly has also placed a GH¢200.00 penalty on anyone caught defecating in the open within the Metropolis.

The Mayor, Iddrisu Musah Superior said the move is part of efforts to sanitise the Metropolis.
