A crucial meeting between concerned parties in the Ghana football stand-off met yesterday to chart a new path for the resumption of football activities across the country.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports ,Parliamentary Select Committee on Youth and Sports and Culture, the GFA Normalisation Committee(NC) and the Ghana League Clubs Association met yesterday to forge a way forward for the game in Ghana.
The press statement below was issued by the Ministry of Youth and Sports after the meeting;
“The Minister Of Youth and Sports,Honourable, Isaac Kwame Asiamah,and the Parliamentary Select Committee On Youth,Sports and Culture ,chaired by Honorable Alex Agyekum held a meeting with the Normalisation Committee(NC) of the Ghana Football Association and the Ghana League Clubs Association on Monday ,25th February,2019.
The meeting was centered on the Special Competition to be organized by the GFA Normalisation Committee to precede the resumption of football-related activities in the country. The Ministry is working closely with the GFA normalisation committee and the clubs to draw up a roadmap for the competition,taking into consideration the enormous contributions from both sides.
An announcement on the date of commencement of the competition will be communicated to the public in due course.
