Slapping my bodyguard was a stage craft – Shatta Wale

Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale says giving his bodyguard a resounding slap at the S-Concert  which was held at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, December, 1st, 2017 was a stage craft.

During Shatta Wale’s performance, a fan mounted the stage, trying to hold Shatta Wale’s leg when his bodyguard prevented the fan from touching him.

Shatta Wale, not happy with the act by the bodyguard, gave him a slap which caused his mask to fall. The act by the controversial hitmaker has sparked several discussions on social media with people condemning him for slapping his bodyguard for doing his work.

But in a response to his critics, the ‘Kakai’ hitmaker speaking to Sammy Flex in a telephone interview on Showbiz Agenda on Zylofon disclosed slapping his bodyguard was planned and its part of his stagecraft.

He also indicated his music empire, Shatta Movement is a serious movement beyond just music and that if you are part of the movement one must give his or her all to make sure something is done well that is how come the bodyguard could sacrificed to take the slap. He promised to gift him a motorbike for making sure their planned stagecraft worked to perfection.

Earlier on Sunday, December 3rd, 2017, the ‘Ayoo; hitmaker indicated that his bodyguard will never betray the Shatta Movement family because he understands the ‘SM Code’. He also asked media houses to forget about interviewing his bodyguard because he is not ready to betray the SM family.
