Six outspoken members of parliament that Ghanaians love

 

Members of parliament are normally supposed to lobby and argue on issues and pass laws for our dear nation Ghana.

They also go a long way to reveal the grievances of their various constituencies, but there are some members of parliament who go the extra mile to make their voices heard in every issue of national interest .

Some outspoken members of parliament in Ghana include.

 

Member of Parliament for North Tongu constituency, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa though in opposition,  his contribution on issues cannot be overlooked as he is  vocal on most issues including the current 1,000 dollars for sitting close to president scandal.

 

Second on the list is Minority leader and Member of Parliament for Tamale South constituency, Hon Haruna Iddrisu.

He is also one of the vocal members of parliament whose contribution cannot be overlooked as he makes sure he is not stamped out by the majority ,he recently contributed to  not allowing senior minster Yaw Osafo Marfo receive budgetary allocation.

Hon Matthew Opoku Prempeh Member of parliament  for Manhyia South though controversial is very vocal and will always let his voice  be heard in  parliament from the time he was in opposition till the NPP came to power and now his position as a Minister of Education and his contribution cannot be overlooked in that regard.

Controversial Member of Parliament of the Assin Central Constituency, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong cannot be left out of this list.

He always does not mince words in expressing opinion on issues, in being vocal some of the comments he makes brews controversy. However, that has not been a hindrance expressing his opinions that will be relevant for the development of the nation .

Member of Parliament for the Asawase constituency and  minority  chief whip, Mubarak Mohammed Muntaka also makes it to  the list as one of the outspoken members of parliament though in opposition now, he is not perturbed and that does not prevent  him from letting his voice be heard as well. He recently exposed that fact that expatriates that sat by the President at the recently held expatriates awards were charged a fee generating a lot of controversy.

Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West and Minister of communication, Hon Ursula Owusu Ekuful is one of the few ladies in parliament who are very outspoken and she does not allow the presence of her male counterparts prevent her from making her voice heard on issues .

Hon  Sarah Adwoa Sarfo , member of  parliament for Dome-Kwabenya and minister for procurement is another lady in Parliament who is not perturbed by her male counterparts in making her voice heard .
