Six Months In Office: President Meets The Press Tuesday

To mark six months in office as the president of the country, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will be addressing the media on Tuesday 18th July at the Flagstaff House.

Among other things the president is expected to touch health, education, governance and other sectors of the economy including inflation and exchange rates.

The president will also address issues concerning campaign promises made by the NPP such as the one-district-one-factory programme, US$1million per constituency policy, removal and review of some taxes including the three per cent flat Value Added Tax (VAT) rate that has generated a lot of controversy.

The president is also expected to highlight his government’s programmes to create jobs as well as make Ghana business-friendly.
