A Ghanaian pastor has said he sees Shatta Wale scooping the ultimate prize at the forthcoming Vodafone Ghana Music Awards but wait a minute, he’s not saying this as a prophecy.
According to Bishop Thunder who spoke on Hot FM, his statement is not from God but his own opinion, claiming that the SM boss will win the ‘Artiste of the Year’ award although Stonebwoy and Kuame Eugene had a good year.
“Even though Kuami Eugene, Stonebwoy also stand a better chance of winning, I think Shatta Wale will win the award. I really like him”
Bishop Thunder further stated;
Please, this is not a prophecy from God…God never revealed to me that Shatta Wale will win…This is coming from me, because looking at Shatta Wale’s fanbase, it is evident that he will win the award
According to him, he knows some people will bash him for supporting secular musicians in his capacity as a pastor:
“Yes, there is nothing amiss about that since we are not living in heaven but on earth…These guys are doing so well so we must all support them”.
The other artistes in the same category are: Joe Mettle, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Kuami Eugene and King Promise.
