Ghana international midfielder Thomas Partey and his colleagues at Atletico Madrid have been wrapping up preparations for their UEFA Champions league Group clash with Club Brugge on Wednesday night.

The La Liga giants currently sit at the apex of Group A after a slim 2-1 victory over French side Monaco in the opening match day courtesy goals from former Chelsea striker Diego Costa and Uruguay international Jose Gimenez.
Atletico Madrid walk into the game on the back of a hard-fought 0-0 stalemate with city rivals Real Madrid on Saturday night.
Meanwhile ,Belgian side Club Brugge find themselves in some great form. They come into this game with a five game winning run in the Belgian Pro League.
Their only recent loss came in match day 1 of the champions league to Borussia Dortmund when Christian Pulisic’s late strike gave the Bundesliga giants all three points.
The Ghanaian midfielder is yet to make an appearance in this year’s UEFA champions league after Diego Simeone left him on the bench on match day 1.The 25-year old made his UEFA champions league debut in April 2016 at the Camp Nou against Barcelona.
Partey will therefore be eyeing an appearance at the Wanda Metropolitano on Wednsday night.
