It is official as Zylofone Cash will be sponsoring the Ghana Premier League for the next five years.
From now onwards the domestic top-flight championship will be called Zylofon Cash Premier League.
The unveiling of Zylofon Cash as headline sponsor of the Ghana Premier League came off on Wednesday at the five-star Movenpick Hotel in Accra.
CEO of Zylofon Media, Nana Appiah Mensah in confirming the deal said, his outfit decided to sponsor the league because football is the biggest sport in the Ghana.
He continued that, since football is the passion of the nation and with the sponsorship coming from his firm, it can help over 80,000 people to make a living.
The Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi who was present in his speech thanked Nana Appian Mensah for investing in football.
According to Nyantakyi, the sponsorship will directly help Division One League as it will take care of club’s officiating fees.
Nyantakyi concluded by assuring that, the GFA will make sure Zylofon Cash get value for their investing.
With Zylofon Cash coming on board, the Ghana Premier League will be having a headline sponsor for the first time in three years.
