Italian side Sassuolo have confirmed the capture of Ghana forward Kevin-Prince Boateng from Eintracht Frankfurt.
Boateng had two spells with AC Milan, winning the Scudetto with them in the 2010-11 season.
In recent days it emerged that he was close to a return to Italy, and today the Neroverdi have confirmed his signing.
“Unione Sportiva Sassuolo Calcio announces the completion of the following transfer market operation,” the club’s official statement begins.
“Kevin-Prince Boateng has been signed outright from Eintracht Frankfurt.
“The player will be presented to the media Friday July 6 at 15.00.”
