Official: Kevin Prince Boateng Set For Las Palmas Return

Ghana international , Kevin Prince Boateng , could be making a shock return to Spanish side Las Palsmas in the immediate future as revealed in a contract he signed with the Liga side. The former Tottenham Hotspurs attacking midfielder traded Las Palmas for Eintracht Frankfurt in a shock moving , citing family ties as the main reason.

The German born Ghana international could however head straight back to Spain in the immediate future per a publication on Las Palmas’ official portal. The Ghana international reportedly agreed to play ambassadorial role for Las Palmas despite heading to the German Bundesliga at the start of the 2017/18 season.

Miguel Ángel Ramírez explained in Canarias Radio the relationship he has with Kevin-Prince Boateng, of which he is sure to play again at UD Las Palmas, although he does not know when.

Relationship to Boateng:”Prince did me a great favor, which was to choose the UD Las Palmas when he had more important offers than we offered him.He gave me his word and fulfilled it.Then renewed before the end of the season.

“A problem arose and the club could help him to solve that problem.We look for a solution and he has already said that it is seen again in yellow and we want to see it again in yellow. If he now needed that humanity on the part of the club to solve his problem, he counted on it and that thanks makes the boy can return to the UD Las Palmas. He has signed three years for the Eintracht and has a clause in which he can come whenever he wants to Las Palmas. When? I do not know.

“He will come when he believes, we will always make him hollow because he is a boy who gave himself and made his best season here. He has a bond with the island and everyone loves him. ”

On the Ambassadorial role: “We turned to Prince to talk to these players so they could come to UD Las Palmas. He now has a clause in which he can detach himself from his team whenever he wants. ” a statement on Las Palmas official portal reads.
