The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has postponed its national annual delegates conference slated for June 15 to 17,2018 to July 6 to 8, 2018.
The party has explained that, the move has become necessary to avoid the date clashing with the Eid-Ul-Fitr celebrations.
This decision was arrived at by the party’s National Steering Committee at its meeting held on Tuesday, 15 May 2018.
Apart from the date which has been rescheduled, every other arrangement pertaining to the organisation of the conference including the venue and electoral arrangement, remain unchanged.
The conference will be held in Koforidua, in the Eastern region to elect new national executives.
