Normalization committee in charge of Ghana football chaired by Dr Kofi Amoah finished its first meeting with the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) on Wednesday at the Citizen Kofi house in Labone.
The meeting concentrated on how to resume football activities in the country and the way forward for Ghana football which came to a halt in June following the broadcast of the Anas number 12 expose.
According GHALCA Chairman, Kudjoe Fianoo, the meeting symbolizes another step in the direction of bringing football back in the country.
The clubs are yearning to have football activities back and despite being in office for a short period he praised the committee for the wonderful steps taken so far to normalize football affairs in the country.
Both parties in a joint statement released after the meeting agreed to develop a competition to keep players active in the absence of the Ghana Premier League.

The Normalization Committee and the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) met on 26 the September, 2018 to discuss the way forward for Ghana Football.
Both parties recognize the need to resume football activities in Ghana and most especially the welfare of players.
The meeting also unanimously agreed on the development of a Competition. Once developed, details will be announced.
Both parties wish to reassure football loving Ghanaians that their game will be back with the excitement and professionalism that it deserves.
