The National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress, NDC, Joshua Hamidu Akamba has said the opposition party is anticipating winning back the Parliamentary seat now empty by the demise of the Ayawaso West Wuogon Member of Parliament (MP), Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko.
Mr Akamba has been broadly denounced for saying the late NPP MP kicked the bucket with resentment against Akufo-Addo for the evil treatment he and his sibling, former Energy Minister suffered.
He continued to say that the by-election offers NDC an opportunity to demonstrate Mr Akufo-Addo that the seat Agyarko held was an old seat, MyNewsGh reports.
Mr Akamba said the Ayawaso West Wuogon Seat has been an old seat of his party which will be re-won in the election.
“We will go there and sit down. Keep in mind that the seat used to be a NDC one thus we will go there and sit down. If the president has truly taken Mr. Agyarko for granted, then we will go and sit down back” he promised.
