Ghana midfielder Ebenezer Ofori has expressed his delight after opening his goal scoring account for New York City FC in this season’s Major League Soccer.
New York City FC played out a 2-2 draw with Orlando City FC on the road, blowing away a two goal lead at the Orlando City Stadium . The 24-year-old grabbed the opener for the New York based side with a stunning effort after 13 minutes.
Alexander Ring doubled the lead for Nee York City with a cool finish on the stroke of halftime.
But two second half goals from Chris Mueller and Tesho Akindele on the 59th and 75th minute respectively salvaged the points for the home side. Ofori played full throttle in the MLS opener and would be eyeing more goals this season.
The former New Edubiase and Ghana U-20 player took to his official Twitter handle to express his joy with such a mark in the MLS.

Ofori is on loan from German Bundesliga side VFB Stuttgart.
