Majority shareholder of Ashanti Gold SC, Dr. Kwaku Frimpong has confirmed that Asante Kotoko is entitled to 20% of the onward transfer from the Obuasi based club to any other club.
The prolific forward joined the Miners from Asante Kotoko after after he was put on transfer.
The former Athletico Madrid youth forward might however not feature for Ashanti Gold as deals from Spain and Kuwait have been readied awaiting the striker’s choice.
Speaking to Kumasi-based FOX, Dr. Kwaku Frimpong confirmed that the striker will soon fly to Spain for negotiations and return home to consider other offers before making a final decision that best suit both the player and Ashanti Gold SC.
“Yes he (Saddick) will travel and come back”, Dr. Frimpong told FOX 97.9 FM. “Another offer has come from Kuwait for him so he will come back and decide which of them he wants.” he confirmed.
Asked whether Asnte Kotoko will earn some amount from the transfer, he answered in affirmative.
“Of course yes, Kotoko is entitled to 20% of the transfer. I and Dr. Kyei (CEO of Asante Kotoko) are like twin brothers, they will get all that is due them,” Dr. Frimpong added.
