Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s Accra Representative, Edmund Ackah has issued a firm caution on behalf of the club to people he whose illegal activities at the Baba Yara stadium denies the club of the needed returns at the stadium gates.
He condemned gatekeepers who collect monies at the gates without properly accounting for them ,calling them “enemies of Kotoko”.
He alleged that some pressmen and medics were fond of passing on their accreditation cards to people without designation, allowing them to have access to areas in the stadium they were not supposed to be.
Ackah infuriated by the accounting challenges the club faces after CAF Confederations cup home matches, warned that the CCTV cameras at the stadium gates were not ruined and were in full use and perpetrators of misconduct at the gates would soon be dealt with.
“Management has in custody videos of people stealing money at the Baba Yara gates at the detriment of the Kotoko”. He insisted, that people involved in such criminal activities at the gates were not true Kotoko Supporters and would be handed over to authorities.
