Speaking in an interview on Joy News monitored by Ghana Crusader, the Komenda legislator made it known that, it will be criminal and a total disservice to the people of Ghana if government goes ahead to value a facility which worth 35 million dollars for 12 million dollar.

“it will be criminal if government values the property at 12 million dollars. This project cost 35 million dollars, so it will be a disservice to the public if government goes ahead woith this deal”. He said

An obviously frustrated lawmaker advised that, “government should rather make a deal with a private investor; where government will strike out his percentage with the private person. This will help rake in some money for the government”, He added

Meanwhile, Trade and Industry Minister, Alan Kyeremanteng speaking on the floor of parliament on April 5, disclosed to the lawmakers that the sale of the factory has become necessary as a result of the recommendations made by his ministry and Cabinet to revive the operations of the factory.
