Head of Communications at Accra Hearts of Oak,Kwame Opare Addo, says the club is dealing with the departure of Inusah Musah and Isaac Mensah in the most professional way.
The duo signed for Angolan outfit Petro Atletico over the weekend and this has generated many questions among the Phobians.
There has been lots of talks already about the club’s continuous loss of its key players for free in recent times.
Former captains ,Moro Abubakar,Robin Gnagne,Thomas Abbey and Vincent Atinga are among a host of players the Phobians have lost to foreign clubs for free.
According to reports,Inusah Musah went for free whiles Isaac Mensah is believed to have signed despite having a contract with the former continental champions.
“We want to be professional in handling the Isaac Mensah and Inusah Musah’s issue” .Opare Addo told GhanaCrusader radio.
He added “We have shown a sign of professionalism by petitioning FIFA and the Normalisation committee”
Clarifying issues on both players contracts ,Opare said“These two players were still under contract with Hearts oak, leaving the club without our approval makes the whole issue complicated”.
When asked on the consistent departure of keys players of the club ,Opare said
“The recent departure of our keys players is down to their own demands, if you want the player and he wants to leave, you allow him to leave”.
Accra Hearts of Oak have petitioned FIFA and the newly formed Normalization committee of the GFA to help deal with the situation. In their books,Isaac Mensah and Inusah Musah are still players of Accra Hearts of Oak.
