Former Chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana, Mrs Charlotte Osei has refuted claims that some government vehicles are in her possession months after being sacked from office.
She stated in a letter dated Tuesday, 7 August 2018 that she has “returned all vehicles and other assets belonging to the Commission”.
The letter which was addressed to the Director of Administration at the Commission requested for official confirmation of all the assets returned to the Commission by the former EC boss.
A Daily Guide report on Tuesday said Mrs Osei is allegedly refusing to return her official vehicle to the Commission.
The publication said she is reportedly keeping the customised Toyota Land Cruiser V8 car that was officially assigned to her.
