Arsenal stuttered their way to a 1-0 win over Watford to move back into the Premier League top four on Monday. The Gunners were relegated to sixth in the table as a result of results elsewhere over the weekend and the pressure was on.
But they responded with a vital three points, holding on to a narrow win after Troy Deeney’s early red card for the home side. Chelsea slipped up with a 2-0 defeat at Liverpool on Sunday, but Tottenham made no mistake as they thrashed Huddersfield on Saturday whilst Manchester United defeated West Ham.
With five games remaining for Arsenal , Spurs and United and only four games left for Chelsea, here’s the state of play in the intense race for the top four with just three points separating the four sides.
