Hearts: Vicent Atingah Adjudged Player Of The Month For Semptember

Accra Hearts of Oak defender, Vicent Atingah, has been voted as the Fero Mobile Hearts Player-of-the-Month for September by fans.

The highly rated defender who has five goals to his credit so far this season, has an impressive outing for Black Stars B, helping the nation to win the Wafu Cup of Nations Ghana 2017 trophy.

Atingah beat fellow WAFU winners Patrick Razak, Thomas Abbey, Winful Kwaku Cobbinah, and Kwame Kizito to the award.

Atingah polled 43 votes from facebook with Razak coming a close second with 39; Abbey picked up 32 votes whilst Cobbinah got 11 and Kizito got a solitary vote.

Since Hearts was not in action in the month of September, voting was based on the performance of the five players at the WAFU tournament.

Meanwhile, Atingah was on national duty last Tuesday when he made his debut appearance for the Black Stars but has since join Hearts as they prepare for their week 29 encounter against Medeama.
