Accra Hearts of Oak have have imposed an indefinite suspension on midfielder Samudeen Ibrahim with immediate effect.
The former King Solomon FC player was suspended after a disciplinary inquiry by the club’s management found him guilty of violating contract rules.
Ibrahim’s contract with Hearts nears expiration but he is unwilling to renew his contract with the club, Ghanacrusader.com can confirm.
A statement on the club’s official Twitter page reads:
“The @HeartsOfOakGH management has suspended midfielder, Samudeen Ibrahim, indefinitely and with immediate effect for multiple violations of his player contract.”
The 22-year-old was signed by the Phobians in 2016 from division one league side King Solomon FC, after emerging as the best player in the second tier league, scoring 4 goals with 20 assists in that particular campaign.
The midfielder has suffered consistent injury set backs since he signed at the club and this has raised a lot of concerns from the supporters of the club
