GPL Week 14 Review: Medeama Maintains Lead, Liberty Hold Kotoko

Medeama SC maintained their lead in the ongoing Ghana Premier League following their 4-1 win over former champions Wa A ll Stars on Wednesday at the T&A Park in Tarkwa.

In the first half, the two-time FA Cup champions shot into a three-goal lead through Kwesi Donsu and Kwame Boateng’s brace.

In the second half, Wa All Stars reduced the deficit through Richard Arthur but Donsu scored again to restore his side’s lead.

At the Carl Reindoff Park in Dansoman, Liberty Professionals played out  1-1 drawn game with Asante Kotoko.

The Dansoman based side struck first on the 13th minute thanks to Edwin Tuffuor Frimpong’s spot kick.

On the 24th minute, Kotoko pulled even courtesy Amos Frimpong’s spot kick.
