A gas filling station at Krofrom in Kumasi has exploded.
Four individuals are allegedly harmed by the blast which occurred between the hours of 7 and 7:30am Tuesday morning at the Prime gas station situated close to a vehicle washing bay from the main Krofrom traffic light, through Columbia towards Tafo Nhyiaeso.
Work force from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) and the police have since reacted to the episode and attempting to drench the fire and also control observers who were present at the area.
As indicated by Graphic Online’s Kumasi correspondent, Serwaa Nkyira Opoku, the police were attempting to control the group.
Property including shops and vehicles have been devastated.
One of the four harmed people, distinguished just as Sackey is truly harmed and have since been taken to the hospital.
Sackey is a specialist at the station.
Reports propose that the attendants were attempting to repair a fault at the station.
