Hearts of Oak deputy Henry Wellington has stressed that his boss Frank Nuttall left Ghana for holidays without leaving last season’s report and the upcoming season’s training programme.
Last Monday, the club started pre-season training without their head coach who is yet to arrive in Ghana – the training was supervised by Wellington.
And according to Wellington the Scottish gaffer left Ghana without leaving a report or training programme.
“The coach (Frank Nuttall) never left a report or training programme. I don’t know whether he gave it to the management or not,” Wellington told Asempa FM.
“The coach directed me to start training with the players only if the club pays the players’ salaries. Now i’m working according to the instruction of the head coach and without a programme.”
Meanwhile, the Phobians will play their first off-season game against Kotoko in the return leg of the Ghana @60 celebrations at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday December 24. The Accra giants won the first encounter 3-1.
