Italian giants Fierontina have joined the race for the signature of Ghana international Baba Rahman. The crocked Chelsea left back has been missing for the past 11 months but could likely seal a move away from the Stand Ford Bridge in the upcoming transfer window.
The Ghana international picked up an injury whiles on international duty with the Black Stars of Ghana and has since been sidelined for the better part of a year. Touted as one of the best crossers of the ball in his days with FC Augburg in the German Bundesliga, Baba Rahman is revered for his pinpoint delivery from the wings and will surely suit the playing system for Fierontina.
Loan options from a number of rival clubs in the English top tier could however ruin any chances of Baba joining the La Viola in the upcoming window. Stoke City, Everton and Shalke 04 have all inquired about the availability of the former Dreams FC wingback with an option of signing the utility defender on permanent deal.
The Ghanaian is under contract with London based side, Chelsea FC, but look set to be farmed out on loan in search of playing time.
