Ethiopian Airlines Grounds All Other B-737-8 MAX Fleet

Ethiopian Airline has grounded all B-737-8 MAX fleet following yesterday March 10, 2019 crash until further notice.

In a press release, the Airline company expressed that, even though the cause of the accident is not known they have decided ground the particular fleet as extra safety precaution.

Ethiopian Airlines flight ET 302/ 10 March in schedule service from Addis Ababa to Nairobi was involved in an accident around Bishoftu (Debre Zeit) a town that separate woreda of Ethiopia, lying south east of Addis Ababa.

Reports indicates that search and rescue operations are in progress; they have no confirmed information about survivors or any possible causalities. There were 149 passengers and 8 crew onboard the flight, currently the Airline Company is confirming the details of the passenger manifest for the flight.
