Asante Kotoko defender Daniel Darkwah has said a touching goodbye to his officials and teammates of the club as he leaves for Nigerian side, Enyimba FC.
The Porcupines reached an agreement with Enyimba FC for the transfer of the versatile left-footed player this week, paving the way for his transfer.
Daniel Darkwah will fly to the neighbouring West African country to complete the switch.
Before that happen, he signed off in beautiful style on Wednesday at Adako Jachie as he went from one colleague to the other, formally and emotionally announcing his departure from the club.
“I leave for Nigeria on Thursday,” confirmed Daniel Darkwah. “I thought it wise to come and say goodbye to the players and coaches” he added.
“It’s with overwhelming emotion that I leave. The bond we have is so huge because Kotoko is a family,” he stated.
“I hope everything goes on successfully but I will certainly miss everybody and everything here; the players, coaches, Management members, supporters and the everything else.”
