Kotoko have resigned Steven Nyarko on a deal expected to keep the midfielder in the club till the end of the 2017/18 season.
The Porcupines signed the combative midfielder from WA All Stars in the 2005/6 season during coach David Duncan’s era.
Stephen Nyarko became a regular player, and spent a year with the club before leaving for CS Sfaxien.
The player, who was named ‘Lionheart’ by former coach, Michael Osei, for his versatility and high endurance capacity, has returned to the club as a free agent, having terminated his contract with the Tunisian giants.
The box-to-box midfielder’s talent and experience would boost Paa Kwesi Fabin’s side which already has seen a positive transformation with the axing of six familiar faces and the replacement with an equal number of youngsters recruited from some lower division clubs in the country.
