Head coach of Asante Kotoko, Charles Akunnor says goal scoring responsibility is equally shared in his team.
According to the former Black Stars captain, who thinks his team have got no other option than to play it safe by winning the remaining fixtures, one at home and the next in Zambia , to secure qualification into the next round, he has framed his team in a way that every player is capable of scoring and that the responsibility of putting the ball at the back of the net should not be one player’s task.
“Anybody can score depending on the movement of the team. I don’t want to narrow goal scoring down to just one person,” C.K Akonnor told the media at the pre-match conference. Kotoko are currently second on the log with 6 points ,level with third placed Nkana who have the same points.Zesco United have 4 points and are bottom of the group.
Kotoko will host Al Hilal on Sunday, March 10 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. A win for the Porcupine warriors will put them in a perfect position to advance to the quarter finals of the CAF Confederation Cup.
