Chief Superintendent Kwesi Ofori taking his turn at the ongoing inquiry into the the Ayawaso By-election violence has called for collaboration among Security Agencies to ensure smooth operations in the country.
Appearing before the Commission on Thursday, Superintendent Ofori stressed that, operational instruction are usually done at various levels in the security structure, however there is the need for all the Security Agencies to collaborate whenever there is an intended operations to bring the needed results.
” The National Security is like the ‘Super Structure’ of the securities. This is because it includes different security personnel from other security agencies, however, it must be taken into consideration that whenever there is an operation in the country other Security Agencies at the lower level should be involved”. he noted
The Commission of Inquiry has been set to investigate the violence that characterize the Ayawaso By-election.
The Commission will on Friday visit the violence scene at the Ayawaso constituency where the violence took place to facilitate investigations.
