Asante Kotoko will be be playing in the CAF Champions League second leg against Kano Pillars and Former player Malik Jabir believes the Porcupines need just a goal and a clean sheet to eliminate their Nigerian Opponents.
According to the ex Black Stars striker, though Kotoko did well by scoring two goals at the Saani Abachi Sports Stadium in Nigerian, they must be able to stop the attacking threats of Kano to guarantee their qualification.
“Kotoko have done well to score two goals away and there is only one chance to qualify and that is by winning by a lone goal and prevent the visitors from scoring. But should they concede a goal at Baba Yara then that chance will be shaky.”
“For the last two months or so, I have not seen much of Kotoko because they have changed their squad and their coach, which made me scared before they went to Kano but they must know how my former team play their away game.”
Asante Kotoko will play the second leg of the CAF Champions League qualifiers at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on August 25, 2019.
