Black Stars goal keeper, Richard Ofori, extended his outstanding form in the South African Professional league with a match winning display for Maritzburg United away to Cape Town City FC. The former Wa All Stars shot stopper unleashed his goal keeping artistry in the PSL clash to earn Maritzburg United a deserved 2-4 triumph at the Princess Magogo stadium, Cape Town.

The Ghanaian import rescued his side from a barricade of attacks to end his side’s nine game winless run in all competitions. The Black Stars custodian denied the host series of goal bound efforts in the goal festival to earn a dramatic 2-4 away in the PSL thriller.

Maritzburg United came from a goal down to earn a vital win in the Tuesday night game to move further up the league log. The inconsistent side made a flying start to the season but has since slowed down in recent times, largely due to their toothless and wasteful attack. United have failed to score in their last eight matches in all competitions
