Ghana’s Richard Commey will be at ringside tonight for the unification fight between WBC World lightweight champion Mikey Garcia and IBF World lightweight champion Robert Easter Jnr.
Commey is currently in Los Angeles for the big clash. On Friday he was at the weigh-in as the two pugilists tipped the scales for the upcoming showdown.
The Ghanaian is number 1 to the IBF title held by Easter and number 4 to the WBC strap in possession of Garcia.
The winner between Garcia-Easter will defend the IBF belt against the James Town native later this year.
In September 2016, Commey battled Easter for the then vacant IBF World lightweight but he lost via controversial split decision.
Commey earned a shot at the World Title again after destroying Alejandro Luna in round six last March.
