Boxing: Richard Commey Drop Two Places Down In WBC Rankings

Ghana world title hopeful, Richard Commey, has dropped a two places down in the lightweight division in the latest World Boxing Council rankings for the month of October.

Two months ago, the one-time World title contender moved to 3rd in the rankings, he dropped to 4th in last month’s rankings, and now in the latest rankings he is at number 6.

Commey has been among WBC’s top 10 rated lightweight boxers in the World for the past seven months.

Commey was recently signed by one of the biggest promoters in the world DiBella Entertainment

The James Town native is currently in U.S.A preparing for his upcoming (date yet to be confirmed) IBF lightweight eliminator against Russia’s Roman Andreev.
