Former Aduana Stars midfielder, Emmanuel Oliver Boateng has set sights on playing Hapoel Tel Aviv first team after completing his switch from the Dormaa-based Club on Monday.
The Ghanaian completed two weeks trials with the Israeli top flight before signing 4 years renewable contract.
Discussing his expectations with new club, Boateng told GhanaCrusader.com: “My expectation in this club is to train very hard and to be in the first team, this is a great club here in Israel, they have players who play in the Israel National team.”
Boateng added: “I know it’s not going to be easy but with hard work I know I can achieve great things with the club.’’
The former WAFA SC player who made 14 appearances in the Ghana Premier League and the CAF Confederation Cup for Aduana Stars would be eyeing a spot in Hapoel Tel-Aviv’s first team, but reckon he must work harder to achieve his goals.
“I am happy to be here and already looking forward to achieve great things with the club. I want to see myself in the first team and ever ready to fight hard towards that goal.”
Boateng’s addition could as well add a great deal of depth in the squad.
Hapoel Tel Aviv FC are 6th on the league log with 3 matches played so far in the Israel leumit league.
