The Black Stars will start training on Tuesday evening at the Accra Sports stadium ahead of the final AFCON qualifier against Kenya on Sunday.
The team is expected to report at the Accra Sports Stadium at 4:00 pm to hold their first training session. Coach Kwesi Appiah named a 24-man squad for the game against the Harambee stars but so far 19 players have reported with the rest expected to arrive in the country later on Tueday.
Kwesi Appiah will use the game against Kenya to prepare for the AFCON in Egypt as well. Asante Kotoko trio of Felix Annan, Amos Frompong and Kwame Bonsu are expected to join the team in Accra on Tuesday immidiately they return from Zambia on Tuesday afternoon.
Among the absentees is Inter star Kwadwo Asamoah who is yet to touch base in Ghana. The Black Stars will play Rwanda on March 26 in an international friendly, with Kwesi Appiah expected to test some of the new faces in the team.
