Pierre Emmerick Aubameyeng inked his name into the record books of Borrusia Dortmund with a blistering treble in the DFB Pokal. The Gabonese goal monger pocketed a blistering hat-trick in his side’s 4-0 mauling of Reilasingen -Arlen to become the club’s all time record foreign top scorer.
The former St Ettiene attacker needed two goals to equal the long standing 123 goals scored by Stephanie Chapuisat but ended up breaking the record. The Signal Iduna Park rampant forward eviscerated the lower tier based visitors in the DFB Pokal to register his 124th strike to become the highest goal scorer by a foreign player in the history of Borrusia Dortmund.
The 2015 CAF footballer of the year banged home 31 odd goals last season to pick the top scoring award in the German top flight. It is however not clear whether Aubameyeng will stay with the German outfit with many top European clubs chasing his signature led by his former side AC Milan.
