Ghana forward Asamoah Gyan says he has to put in a lot of work in order to put his career back on track..
In his first season at Kayserispor in the Turkish top-flight, the Ghanaian goal poacher failed to live up to the billing due to injuries – that was his worse performance in the last seven seasons.
At Kayserispor, the former Sunderland and Udinese forward managed only 12 league games and that is unusual of Gyan.
However, news have gone viral that the Turkish side are looking to offload him due to such a poor season, but the the 32 year-old says he will need a big season to revive to his career.
“This season will be one of the important seasons [in my career],”he said.
“I didn’t have a good season last term so it is important for me to be ready for this coming season.
“I have to be physically ready and all so this will be an important season.”
